Duckweed Data Collection

Duckweed is a native plant that is present at nuisance volumes within the Silver Creek Estuary and, at certain times of year, along Green Lake’s shores. Duckweed is the number one complaint we receive.

In an effort to help us increase our understanding of the impact of duckweed on Green Lake, we encourage you to complete the below survey.

In the meantime, the GLA is also working with the US Geological Survey to measure phosphorus loading from duckweed at the County Highway A bridge.
